The following are books that we have found to be helpful, give scriptural understanding, and build faith. 
Some, like Sovereign God are a must read.   Many of these are freely given, as the gospel was intended.

1. HIDDEN MANNA for the END TIMES by David Eells.
Unlocks Bible prophecies with VITAL revelation and understanding. Makes obsolete virtually every other prophecy book. Mark of the Beast, Rature Timing, the Fall of America, the Falser Prophet, The Harlot Church,  and THE STARTLING REVELATION OF WHO is the ANTI-CHRIST. (soon to be released in paperback). 

2. The Harlot Church System  Charles Newbold Jr.  A former professional pastor compares the church of scripture with the Babylonish New Testament church. 

3. JADED Anna Kiesling. For as little as a penny + shipping, This little book called "Jaded" really helped us realize why we were no longer thriving in "church".  The stories of many others who experienced church failure helped to point us back to God and away from institutional Christianity. 4. Sovereign God by David Eells.  If you think faith consists of just believing in the existence of God, going to church, and living a moral life, this book is a MUST READ. It is not sold, only given.
