The REAL GOOD NEWS
The other day I received a request for prayer and finances from a brother Christian. He is in great affliction and suffering. Cancer was spoken to him by the doctors.
I forwarded it to our prayer ministry for agreement and this reply was sent to our friend. It contains great wisdom from scripture and the keys to open the door of faith to have God meet our need.
This is the real Good News of our gospel, that God is able, and has already met our needs according to His promises in scripture. Those promise are obtained through FAITH in what God says, not our hopes and certainly not what our eyes and mind may tell us. "ALL things are possible to him that believeth'.
The email we sent him from Bill at Unleavened Bread:
"The purpose of this ministry is to spread the real good news. The real good news of the Gospel. The good news that we don't need doctors, we don't need medicine, we don't need money.
What we need is faith in the Gospel, that we were delivered from he curse by faith.
James speaks of the prayer of faith; James 5:15 and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.
So what is faith? Hebrews has something to say about that; 11:1 Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen. The Bible is saying that we have a firm expectation to receive those things for which we pray when we believe as though it already is.
So, we put our faith together an pray that our Father will have mercy on you.. This is also a good time to confess of any sin that may be hindering your deliverance from the curse.
Confession of your sins and forgiving those whom you need to forgive is a prerequisite of manifesting a deliverance from the curse, for sin and unforgiveness brings us under the curse.
James 5:16 Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much.
Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
We pray and believe according to the scripture.
Matthew 18:18
Verily I say unto you, what things soever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and what things soever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
I Peter 2:24 who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.
The curse brings us to the cross and the the sacrifice of Jesus Christ delivers us from that curse by faith:
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen. Jesus Christ is very impressed with faith. So, by faith and according to scripture, we can believe for our deliverance from the curse.
Matthew 9:28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it done unto you.
The apostles commanded healing by faith.
Acts 3:5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something from them. 6 But Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but what I have, that give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and raised him up: and immediately his feet and his ankle-bones received strength.
Much like the three Hebrew children in the book of Daniel prior to being thrown into the fiery furnace, we also are faced with trials. The three Hebrew children were between a rock and a hard spot and they knew it. If they bowed a knee to Baal, then they would really end up in a fiery furnace.
But if they didn't bow a knee to Baal, they knew they would be saved in the Spirit. Our Father had great mercy on those children and saved them both body and Spirit. Our Father will do the same for you. When you put your trust in God and not man, you will be saved.
It has been my experience and also with many who have posted their testimonies on David's web site www.unleavenbreadministries.org; when you place yourself completely in the hands of our Father, put aside your feelings of doubt and hold fast to the confession of your hope that it waver not, our Father is faithful to His promise of deliverance from the curse and His promise for provision of our needs.
Our Father has promised us deliverance from the curse and promised to provide our every need.
To take advantage of that promise, we need to follow the example of Jesus Christ, and walk as He walked, by faith.
We do this by reading the word, the Gospel, and abiding in that word. Then we go through a process of putting to death the flesh as we produce the fruit of Jesus Christ, 30, 60, hundredfold.
Galations 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
We do this by trusting in our Father to deliver us from the trials that He Himself authors in our lives. As we grow in Jesus Christ, wisdom and knowledge, we can expect to be have trials of our faith. These are trials which cause us to place our trust in our Father and not man.
As James said, 17 Even so faith, if it have not works, is dead in itself.
We do battle by taking a bold stand in this spiritual warfare through the power and authority of the Gospel. You have authority to bind and loose spirits according to your faith. You have authority to lay on hands and heal through the blood of Jesus Christ. You have all the power and authority of our Father's heaven from which to place your trust.
We have not because we ask not. We have not because we act not upon these promises our Father has already given us back at the cross two thousand years ago. We are to act, take charge, and lead the spiritual battle in which you have been placed from the foundations of the earth. This is your time, your place, and your one opportunity in all eternity to produce the fruit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Nothing happens by chance.
Our Father has given us all a job to do. And if we don't fill in the gap, then our Father is able to raise up stones.
Luke 3: 8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
As believers, our weapon is the word and our faith in that word. To receive the promises from our Father we must take charge and use the weapons our Father has given us against evil strong holds in our lives and against the curse. To be entitled to our Father's promises, we must have faith in those promises. Our Father has put forth all the promises in His word, through His Son Jesus Christ, once and for all, yesterday, today and tomorrow, from the foundations of the earth. And we can take comfort in the knowledge that we are righteous by faith, and when we repent and believe, the old things are passed away and we become new in the eyes of our Father.
II Corinthians 5:17 Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new. Our Father's will for His people to be delivered from the curse by faith, has purpose, for the curse without cause alighteth not,
Proverbs 26:2 As the sparrow in her wandering, as the swallow in her flying, So the curse that is causeless alighteth not. So, there is a reason for the curse. It is there to bring us into alignment with the word, and as a means to force us into a situation where we must walk by faith.
Numbers 21 is an example of our Father sending the curse and then providing the deliverance from that very curse. This is also a type and shadow of Jesus Christ on the cross. We take our eyes off of the curse and look back at the cross and believe Jesus Christ took that curse for us.
5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
6 And Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
7 And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
8 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a standard: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he seeth it, shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and set it upon the standard: and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked unto the serpent of brass, he lived. Numbers 21:
The lady with the issue of blood finally came to the conclusion that she could find hope by no other means then touching the hem of Jesus Christ's garment to be healed. She is an example of what we go through in our lives as we learn to walk by faith and finally come to the knowledge of truth. And we need only to place our hand on the hem of Jesus Christ's garment and believe through him, we have already overcome the curse.
For us to step out in faith, we must have the faith to believe This is the trial of our faith. Reaching that point where we finally cross over from unbelief to believing that the promises are not nay, or maybe, or if it by thy will, but yea.
II Corinthians 1: 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him is yea. 20 For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us. 21 Now he that establisheth us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God;
When we walk by faith, and believe the word, we are delivered from the curse. When we finally come to the end of our rope and say, "Yea Lord," I believe that You are able to deliver me, then we place ourselves in a position of weakness, by faith we are released from the curse, and through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we have all the promises of our Father.
All we have to offer is our faith. So, by entering into the rest of Jesus Christ, when we are weak, our Father steps in, takes over and does His work His way. We are edified and our Father gets all the glory. We enter into the rest and the trial of our faith which is that time period between the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the manifestation of our healing.
Thank You Father for granting Glen repentance and a forgiving heart. Thank You Father for giving him the word of knowledge that Your Son Jesus Christ suffered and gave up His life not only for our sins but also for our infirmities. That by faith, we were delivered from the curse and we only need put our trust in You Father and not man. That there is nothing man can do that hasn't already been done by Your Son Jesus Christ.
A PRAYER FOR YOU.
Thank You Father for giving us the faith to believe that they were already delivered from his infirmities and the curse was already lifted from his body, back at the cross of Your Son Jesus Christ. We believe we can receive nothing lest it comes from You Father.
Thus, it must stand that the curse brings us to the cross and through Your Son Jesus Christ, we are delivered from the curse. Thank You Father for giving Glen the word of knowledge that faith is based on Your word and not our feelings. That our hope rests on submitting to Your word and not our feelings. That manifestation of prayer comes to past according to our faith and trust in Your word Father, and not what we think, what we feel, for the word states; Romans 3: 4 God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment.
We add our faith to yours and command deliverance from all infirmities and include what the doctors say. Thank You Father for comforting us in the knowledge that You will not leave us nor forsake us as demonstrated by the resurrection of Your Son Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.
